Baxter was released from his suffering after a very short illness, he had a tumour on the pituitary gland and it had taken his sight and hearing and his kidneys had stopped working, he was the sweetest natured dog who loved everybody and they loved him, he was boisterous but very careful with Sue’s young nephews, he was never grumpy even when in pain, he had his fair share of pain having had a double cruciate operation from which he had only just recovered.

Baxter was a very happy dog with a superb temperament, he was lightly shown but would have been campaigned heavily the following year. He was consistantly in the "cards" and won his Post Graduate class at Bournemouth.
Baxter and Georgie were the only two pups in the litter and they are totally devoted to each other, we had to leave one in the car while the other was being shown as they were constantly looking for one another
