It is with a very sad heart writes Jean & Hilton Quigley and Sue Day (Swnydwr) that we report Swnydwr Charlie’s Angel has died at the age of 11 years. Although very lightly shown herself, “Joey” was one of those brood bitches that only come along once in a lifetime and to her we are eternally grateful. She was the dam of five UK Champions with a total of 54 CC’s and was the Top Brood Bitch in breed 2002, 2004, (overall first in the working group) 2005 and 2006.
Joeys’ first litter in 1999 by Mansty’s Hooray Henry produced Swnydwr Crimestopper 28 CC Top Dobermann 2003 & 2nd in the Working Group, her subsequent litters to Henry produced Ch Swnydwr Say The Word 3CC and Ch Swnydwr Hellfire at Tarchans 5CC
In 2004, her last litter, we decided to experiment with AI and used the semen from AM CH Cambria’s Irish Rebellion this resulted in four puppies two of who became CH. Swnydwr SupaTramp 15CC Joint Top Dobermann Top Dobermann Bitch 2006 and CH.Swnydwr SupaCool 3CC subject to KC approval .
Joey has passed on her true Dobermann temperament and character to all of her children and grandchildren and will be terribly missed by all at Swnydwr.
This is the real Joey, placid easy going not worried by anything, the Show Ring was not her forte but it was her childrens she produced 3 Champions to Mansty Hooray Henry and 1 Champion to Am Ch Cambria's Irish Rebellion. Two of these becoming Top Dobermanns.
She has been UK Top Dobermann Brood Bitch 4 times

and in 2004 Joey was UK Top Dobermann Brood Bitch and 1st in the Working Group
